Our Vision and Mission

THRIVE is committed to raising the standard for community involvement in shaping the future of Santa Ana. We aim to elevate residents' voices in planning, neighborhood design, and governance decisions while fostering community wealth and healthy neighborhoods. Through land stewardship and cultivating multi-generational leadership, we empower residents to take an active role in building a sustainable, inclusive future.

Our Roots

Founded by a coalition of local organizations and residents with over 50 years of combined experience, THRIVE embodies the power of community-led initiatives. Our work is rooted in listening to residents, conducting in-depth neighborhood needs assessments, and advocating for solutions that address unmet needs in development, including:

  • Affordable housing

  • Community micro-farms

  • Parks and open spaces

  • Farmers markets

  • Support for local small businesses

By promoting dialogue between residents and city leaders, we are creating pathways for development that prioritize equity, sustainability, and community well-being.

Why We Exist

We believe that land should serve the people, not just profits. Our approach ensures that local development reflects the needs and aspirations of Santa Ana's diverse community. Together, we’re building a city where every resident has access to the opportunities and resources they need to thrive.
